With a dangerous cargo at stake, Commander Sisko must battle a band of hijackers!

Antimatter is a Star Trek: Deep Space Nine novel, the eighth of Pocket Books's DS9 numbered books. The novel was written by John Vornholt with cover art by Keith Birdsong, and was initially released in November 1994. The story, set in 2370 during DS9's second season sees the crew of DS9 dealing with a hijacking of dangerous antimatter, as the title might suggest, from a shipyard on Bajor.

This novel makes mention of the Circle, which was featured in the DS9 episodes: "The Homecoming", "The Circle", "The Siege".

John Vornholt got the idea for this novel after reading the Star Trek: The Next Generation Technical Manual, according to the Pocket novel compendium Voyages of Imagination.
