CASTING CALL for ROCKY HORROR SHOW at SURFSIDE PLAYHOUSE, COCOA BEACH.

Every October for the last 7 years, Surfside Playhouse has presented 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' to packed houses of screaming fans. And to commemorate the closing of the theatre's landmark 50th season, Surfside is proud to debut on its stage the musical that started it all: 'The Rocky Horror Show'!

'The Rocky Horror Show' is the full stage rock musical that inspired the cult film, 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'. This is NOT the film and shadow cast experience; this is the live band, full stage musical with great songs and crazy characters.

Surfside will be holding open auditions on Sunday and Monday, March 22 and 23 at 7 pm at the Playhouse. All are welcome to audition. Those planning to attend should dress for a dance audition. Also, there will be selections taught and sung from the show, but those interested may bring a prepared song NOT from a stage musical. If bringing a prepared piece, please also bring a background track on CD that does NOT contain vocals. There will also be cold readings.

The show will run from May 22 - June 7. Directed by Anthony Mowad.

Surfside Playhouse is located at Ramp Road and Brevard Avenue in Cocoa Beach. Phone number is 321-783-3127. It's easy to find. Take State Road A1A to 5th Street South (5 blocks south of Minuteman Causeway) and head west until you drive into it.

October 25th - THIS SATURDAY - we are hosting an ART MARKET on our large lawn along Eastbound Eau Gallie (Montreal Ave, corner of Highland Ave in Olde Eau Gallie). There will be many Artists participating with, not only their art on display, but they will also be working on their current pieces (WOW!).

I have run some advertising for it, and I wish that all my favorite people will attend. So, please mark your calendar. I would really like to see you here as it is going to be a big event.

Hi all,

I just moved back to Melbourne after being away at school for four years. I adopted a dog about a year ago, and I'm looking for dog-friendly ANYTHING around Brevard. I know that there are dog parks in Wickham Park and Satellite Beach, but I'm wondering if there are any other places (restaurants, stores, anything) that dogs are allowed.

I'm a former faithful 101.0 listener. I stuck by them after they got rid of the Fiasco but i can't handle Lex and Terry. I'm considering going to Sirius. If anyone has any recommendations for a morning radio show I'd appreciate it. TIA!
