Hey everyone, I've got a couple of ideas that a vaguely medsoc related.
One: Realm, ahhh Realm, that thing we often talk about but never actually *do* anymore. My suggestion is this: if 10 or so of us can band together, and each write a short story depicting one of our favourite events in Realm history, why not (with the permission of James and Hils), get them published in a neat little compendium? Am I the only one who thinks this is a cool idea? (Note, by short story i mean about 4-7000 words, and heck, you can always just go yank the stuff you actually posted!)
Two: In the same vein as the above, as many of you are aware some of us often go nuts in the November of each year writing a ridiculous number of words for a story. This is always lots of fun, and we often talk about writing more throughout the rest of the year. This is something I've been endeavouring to do, but with only limited success so far. I ask for anyone who is in a similar boat to me to join together and form our own little writing community to keep us all on track, feed of each other's creativity and so forth (mmm, creativity vampires....there's a story idea....). I was also thinking every 2 months or so we could also do a little publication for the members of snippets from our stories (if people are interested in sharing their work of course, no pressure) and that way we can all give feedback on each others work?
