MATCH POINT is a general Tennis no Oujisama/Prince of Tennis RPG that is based on the series by Konomi Takeshi. Relationships may vary from het/yaoi/yuri based on the players' discretion. We prefer to adopt a "go where ye will" attitude. What happens, happens.
The RPG will be played through Livejournals. Hence, unlike the usual narrative writing, the roleplayers are required to write in their journals as their character.
Tezuka has ordered all the Seigaku regulars to keep an online journal for purposes of improving the data Inui gathers on each player.
Those who do not do so are required to assist Inui in testing his "special vegetable juices". Naturally, all the regulars were only too happy to assist the buchou in his quest to make the team better.
Of course, Ryoma-sama's fan club would not be left behind, their friends also made online journals to be close to their friends and idols.
Would Fudomine ever bear to be behind Seigaku? Or Hyoutei? Of course not. The other teams, having heard of what Seigaku did, realized that they could not fall behind their rival team. Most of the other players have also made journals of their own.
It seems that online journals are proving to be really popular this year among the tennis crowd.
Basic Premise The plotline will follow the majority of the anime, though eventually it will deviate from the story as all RPGs are wont to do.
The characters will play out tennis matches and experience events that occurred in the anime as they were, however, the focus of the game is put upon interactions between characters that were never shown. Examples of these instances are when the characters are at school, during practice, doing homework, or during free time
