Life is good and BUSY! I have not posted about any of the fun things I have been doing....The Pony Show, HALLOWEEN!!! and last weeks Bauhaus show at the Nokia theatre.....sigh.. Work has been keeping me insane. I have hardly anytime to call people.
BUT this weekend was my Birthday. And I am a lucky girl. I have such amazing friends and family.
Friday-
I worked but the nicest thing happened. There is this older customer who always comes in with a smile. Well he overheard me telling another customer it was my Birthday on Saturday so he went and got me a beautiful rose. When he handed it to me I was so flustered. It was the sweetest thing ever and made up for all the morons that are mean to me all day. And to top it off  lauralei walked in during this. She was bringing me my B-day present to cheer me up because I was miserable on Thursday.
After work I went shopping with Mom. Got some presents and just had fun with her. It is so rare for us to get to go shopping and both of us get to have a good time.
I went out with Laura that night for yummy Indian food. My first time. I cannot tell you what I ate but it was darn tasty. Then some shopping and then we went to see the movie I have been DYING to see. NO not Harry Potter but "Walk the Line". AMAZING is not enough to describe the movie. Great story, acting and my God Reese and Joaquin can SING. So good! Run and see it! I have to see it again!!
Saturday-
My B-day. spookbaby came over to make me breakfast! I mean what friend DOES that?? She is amazing! And with all the kids. AND she made me a cake I have wanted for years. One with the doll stuck in it so it looks like a dress! I have to post pic's of it. I got kisses from all my kids and special presents from each and SPOOK. SPOILED! My fave thing ever? Her 3 1/2 yr old little girl made me a Build-a-Bear. It was decked out in a Hello Kitty tee, denim skirt, black converse, Hello Kitty panties and purse and cat-eye glasses! All picked out by her. And when you squeeze the arm it is her voice saying "I love you Lisa!".......MELTS!! What a great morning.
Then some eye brow zapping, and some Whole Foods shopping with Michele and then it was time to get ready for dinner!
We went to BIG DADDY's a cajun place in Massapequa. WELL! What a wait. My Sisters went at 7:45pm and put our names down (9 people) and well...we sat at 10:00pm! I was drunk from Hurricanes by then. But I had a great time with my friends and do not regret it. Then a quick drink at Subculture later.
Sunday-
I relaxed and then went to dinner with my 2 sets of parents and Michele (who could not come Sat). We went back to BIG DADDY'S (sat at the same table!) because sadly the night before most of the yummy entree's were gone. I am lucky all my parents get along so well.
So that was my weekend. Spoiled with gifts, love and naughty food. All good!
But boy was I tired today. I cannot believe Turkey Day is this week and BOOM Christmas will be here. Where the Hell is all the time going?? SOmeone please tell me!!

sigh........"It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown", Pumpkin carving, cajun pumpkin seeds, The "Elvira" movie and playing with Halloween make-up with 5 friends. That and wine. A GOOD night but now I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Long days at work. I am so glad I am off tomorrow (to do more work on my and other's costumes!). I love this. So sad it will be over soon.
I went to see "The Pony Project" over the weekend. One of the BEST nights I have had in a long time. I need to make a proper post for the memories! But now I think me and my Bat PJ's need to cozy up on the couch. |

Do any of you have asthma? I do. Really bad. It has been under control since I have been using Advair but lately it has gotten worse. In the middle of the night I have been waking up in full asthma attack. Not fun. I keep on using my emergency inhaler which I used to never use. And the damn emergency inhaler flares my acid reflux which leads to even more discomfort and puking. Ahhh life is good! LOL! Share too much?? ME! never!! Off to the Doctor tomorrow on my day off. Yay fun!
So what are you kids being for Halloween? I am going to be Demented Little Miss Muffett and throw spiders at people. I just helped my friend with her costume.......a bombed smurf!!!!!!! We have to find her one of those Unicef boxes that the kids get for Halloween. I think it would be a funny costume.
BTW those of you that like Starbucks. I am having a new love affair with Chai. Never liked it before till I tried it the correct way (with water) soooo tasty......BUT get it with Pumpkin Syrup!! Like Fall in a cup. I am obsessed with it I tell you. I have been coming up with all crazy drinks at work. They should let me create them.
So thats it. I go from no posts to lots of em...Now I am going to get cozy and watch "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and my love.......SPIKE!

Ok, I just posted BUT I am watching VH1's best week ever. Did anyone here/see The Belgium's Unicef commercial where they BOMB A SMURF VILLAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the FUCK?????? I am so damaged seeing that before I go to bed! They have them singing and well just being SMURFY and then bombs! Mushroom houses a flaming and then baby smurf crying amongst the carnage........
eesh!
I think I will stop drinking beer from Belgium..

I love this month. So much to do! And I have been having so much fun. I went to an Art show at a tattoo shop/gallery in my town, SALEM, Dancing, a lot of nights out for dinner with friends, and of course my friends ALWAYS being here trying on wigs, spookbaby's bday, a Turkish coffee reading class at Instant Karma, a huge family party yesterday and thats just the beginning....
This week I am going to a MAC seminar with lauralei, "The Pony Project" show in NYC with the girls (www.theponyproject.com), The Circus Punks show, Pumpkin picking!!, Halloween parties and haunted houses and more!!
Life is good. The pockets are empty and I am a tad sleep deprived but times with friends are good.
I cannot believe how fast time is flying. Crazy.....soon it will be November...my B-day, Bauhaus and "Walk the Line"......JOAQUIN!!!! and then Christmas.
Where did the year go?
So much BS but so many good times.
Good friends......

and friends I miss very much but do not take the time to contact.........thats another story.
Sigh...
need to sleep. I do not work till 10:30am tomorrow but I had to let a co-worker sleep here tonight. Her apartment was completely flooded, molded, mildewed and she has no hot water. I had to offer her a place. That just sounds miserable! Sadly though she is opening and has no car so I must taxi her in. My good deed for the week I guess!!

maybe not so much. I have been a busy girl. No time to BREATHE!!
lets see. Right now I am listening to DEPECHE MODE's new CD on MYSPACE and it is AMAZING!! spookbaby and I are to see them in December and I cannot wait. Speaking of Miss SPOOOOK it was her BIRTHDAY today!!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday to my most AMAZING friend and the best person I know. Last night we went out to a Haunted House and to see "Corpse Bride" again and tonight dinner at BIG DADDY's (amazing Cajun) with her Aunt for dinner. I hope she had a good night. When we got back to her house I fell into a food and drink coma!
What have I been doing? Starbucks for one...yuck.. No need to discuss that.
Then busy with friends.......very busy. I went to SALEM last week with my friend Michele and her daughter. What a town. I am so glad I finally went. Not what I had pictured in my head but still amazing. The hotel we stayed in was so old. A 4 floor walk up! With all the crap I brought that was not fun. But it had exposed brick, a vaulted ceiling and a terrace. We did all the witchy tours, eating out, and lots of shopping. I got some spells, a ouija board and more.
Trying to do as much Halloween stuff as I can. My friend Krissy and I are taking a Turkish coffee reading class on Friday. I cannot wait.
I felt like I had done more but the brain has been garbled. Life is moving too fast. Work tires me out and my health. I have friends I lost contact with and need to talk to but I am so.....sooo....you know?? I dont know.
I am looking forward to more Halloween fun, planning my costume and such. My village is done but not much else.
Thats it I think.

its sooooo late, and I am beyond tired BUT the allergy meds I took will not allow me to sleep! UGH!!!
I had a good day off. I shopped all day with a friend. For nothing in general!! I treated myself to a new ANGEL perfume that is made with Peony's. It is sooo yummy! I loved ANGEL when it came out 11 years ago but stopped wearing it when everyone started wearing it. This new one is unusual. Though I got nothing else good at the mall. I need clothes, work and play and saw NOTHING!! It stinks!
Then we went to Best Buy and I bought the FRAGGLE ROCK box set!!!!!! Oh joy! SO funny because 2 nights ago I DL'd 2 episodes on Limewire. I did not even know it was on DVD. I also got ALL ABOUT EVE!! oh Bette!
Then to TARGET to check out the Halloween goodness!! I got a great screaming coffin and JONES SODA came out with canned Candy Corn and Caramel Apple soda!!!! SO much better than Turkey and Gravy I tell ya! Go pick some up!
I am explanation point happy!
Then to the SMEEEELLY Asian market for goodies. Hoping for Pumpkin Pocky but no..sadly.. and then to a beverage distributer to find pumpkin beer. None of that either but I got a big ol jug of blueberry beer. Anyone want to come have some??
Then tonight I watched the Fraggles and drank some chocolate beer with a friend. A good night, aside for the allergies.
