This personal blog is perfect to experiment with different writing styles. On my website, I need to watch my words, tone, and style. Here, I am free to experiment with poetry, haikus, and tankas. I can post a review or just upload a picture.

My photography is labelled either Alice de Sturler or AdS. Please ask before you copy and/or use any of my pictures.

Posting here goes in bursts. Some months will be more active than others. I try to post on Mondays. Remember that if you wish to comment on a post you need to click on the post’s title first to be able to view everything such as comments, likes, categories, tags, etc.

My blog’s URL is Malham Magna. I made it up. Malham and Magna come from the UK TV series Midsomer Murders. Midsomer is a county. Malham and Magna are part of village names.

One of my favorite episodes, Last Year’s Model, takes place in Midsomer Malham. DCI Tom Barnaby revisits his own case to prevent a miscarriage of justice. Another favorite episode, They Seek Him Here, takes place in Midsomer Magna where a film crew is making a movie about the Scarlet Pimpernel, a favorite fictional character. Combined, they form Malham Magna.
