Once again, I have no idea where the week has gone. I was off on Monday and Tuesday and I mainly relaxed.
Wednesday at work wasn't bad - - we did modulars, but they weren't bad. Thursday, however... we came in at 5 so we would have time to work before it got so busy. Yeah. It took us 8... 8 hours to do one friggin' mod. Nothing stayed in the same place. We had planned to do the remaining 3, but we only managed the one. Poor Elouise had to do the other one by herself today.
Because I started my 3 day weekend today. So did J. We slept late - - or rather, he did. After going in at 5 yesterday, I was tired. After nodding off 3 times trying to watch Ghost Hunters last night, I went to bed... at a little after 7.
After lunch, we started on the back bedroom, getting everything organized into containers, gathering up stuff to drop off at Goodwill tomorrow, and just throwing out stuff. It still looks like a disaster area, but there's not nearly as much stuffed in there as before.
We had leftovers(last night's corn boil), and just finished watching Despicable Me, which I enjoyed even more than Megamind, which we saw the other night. Of course I had no trouble cheering for the "bad" guys from the beginning.
My brother Robbie called just now, and I had to laugh - - he used to be so wild, and now he has really turned into a grandfather. He just bought his grandson Eric a little red wagon and spent the afternoon putting it together. If only he was as close to his own kids... but, I should just be happy he's settled down.
J and I intend to sleep late and head out to dinner tomorrow night for our anniversary. J asked for Cracker Barrel this year, and I agreed, since I love the food and the store part.
