Hello all!

I have a somewhat decent batch of icons for you all! And by decent I mean decent in size. Hopefully you will find them to be decent in quality. Some of these I felt like I had my mother in my head going, "Is that really the best that you can do? Are you proud of that?"

I wasn't sure if I should wait a little longer and add to the batch or post it now as is. And as I've been holding onto a few of these for a while, I figured now was as good a time as any. ginzarhapsody, sekitou and cookie2697, you're all amazing and I hope these please. :)

Hello, everyone!

I’m finally getting around to posting. You’re shocked, I’m sure. ::amused:: So, this isn’t much. Mostly it’s just stuff that I’ve made here and there and never got around to posting. Special thanks for this goes to those lovely people on my f-list that participated in my Iconsmas this year. For those curious as to what that is, I posted on my LJ that I'd make a set of no less than 5 icons of a topic of their choosing as a sort of 12 days of Christmas type of countdown. Ish. It was named Iconsmas by the always brilliant madkrazyghetto. And it was rather a success, I'd go as far to say (even considering I made icons for shows I'd never seen or barely heard of). Hello!

I know, it’s been a while since I’ve posted icons. Adri’s even told me so. I believe her exact words might have been, “you haven’t been making icons.” And it's partly true. I hadn’t been making icons for a long while. Just recently Marie Antoinette struck my fancy with its pretty costumes and colors. How come no one pulled me onto a sofa and sat me down for a viewing and opened my eyes to the pretty before Laura? And then I fiddled around with my The Painted Veil caps out of boredom. So I figured I’d post them instead of leaving them unseen on my computer.

So here’s the latest batch from me. Hopefully the next batch won’t be as far in the future. Happy, hopeful thoughts never hurt, yeah?

Whoohoo! I am finally caught up with the recent icons and a fairly good amount of the old stuff as well. ::nods:: This is the last post of the day. (Unless I get a sudden burst of icon!inspiration and energy.) Below is a sizable (for me at least) collection of icons from several fandoms. I have a great weakness for pretty people in gorgeous costumes. The show is sometimes hit and miss for me, but the costumes are continually gorgeous. And the people maintain their prettiness. And really, making icons of pretty people in pretty costumes is quite a nice diversion. I was talking to ginzarhapsody about my making the icons and we were both like, "I wouldn't use any, but it's just so very pretty!"

The show is pretty. Hopefully the icons aren't a woeful disappointment.
