It will also continue to use characters and elements that may come within post-213 chapters. Meaning that if you are not up-to-date with the current manga storyline, you will be spoiled heavily. ------------------------------------------
Origins
In the year of Grace MMV, jamiefawkes the Pioneer founded omg_bleach, a Bleach crack RPG inspired by the concept of the ever-famous OMG!Naruto RPG, as well as omg_symphonia's. All these games, basically, were based on the idea of confronting the "real" characters with their "bad fanfiction counterparts". Concretely, omg_bleach had both in character (IC) and out of character (OOC) versions of each and every character from Bleach, and both versions would interact with each other, and be placed in insane situations (often inspired by those "badfics"...), creating the general chaos that we like to call "crack".
omg_bleach soon became a fun and friendly place where silliness reigned. And, for several months, the RPG lived and grew. But, for a number of reasons, enthusiasm and inspiration began to wane, and the game threatened to disappear.
But some of us omg_bleach players had become too attached to the game to let it die, and thus, we decided to give crack a new chance. And thus, we said goodbye to omg_bleach, and lolz_bleach was born. The omg_bleach experience taught us some things about what works and what doesn't, so hopefully this brand new game, which is based on the same idea that the "real" characters meet badfic situations, will be built on more "solid" grounds, and organized in a way that makes the game easier to play for everyone!
The concept of LOLZ!Bleach
First of all, let us be clear: you don't need to know omg_bleach to play or join! This is a whole different game, which is -as we said- inspired by the former RPG, but the characters and situations have all been re-booted, so we're really starting again from scratch!
The general idea of lolz_bleach is that our characters from Bleach are suddenly facing completely insane situations (as it often happens in badfic): for example, dead characters suddenly coming back to life, "Mary Sues" and "Gary Stus" running around in Seireitei, random unseated shinigami suddenly getting promoted to Captains, etc.
Of course, parody (of badfic/some parts of the fandom) is the base of the RPG, but more than anything, the purpose of the game is to have fun by driving our favorite characters crazy and see how they react, try to find the source of all this, or just completely break down.
