I thought this might be good to post here :) We have discovered that whatever the food, our four year old is most likely to eat it if it is on a stick.

fleurlady @ 10:31 pm: Hello..i am new here :). i think of myself as crafty gal..four kids living on a farm in idaho..orignally from southern californa.owned flower shops there for eighteen years. so now have a new life in Idaho.raisng chickens, ,growing flowers, smelling fresh air, and doing too much laundry. would rather be making things :)

caitygrl96 @ 09:19 pm: Yesterday, at the Spring Fling they were making bookmarks out of shaving cream and food coloring and I thought it was really cool. From what I could see... you put a blob of shaving cream, food coloring and swirl it then take your peice of paper (looked absorbant like construction paper) and put it on top of the cream starting at one end and pat, lift up and slide it down and repeat.

catarina_delana @ 03:39 am: Just wanted to announce that i am officially pregnant! I have taken several at home pregnancy tests, and 3 out of 4 came out positive, 1 EPT and 2 cheap dollar store sticks. I will take one more before i visit the doctor, but yay! Just wanted to share.

Something i saw on Kids Concotions today was jello oranges =)

Take an orange, cut it in half to create a little bowl, fill it with orange jello, and put it in the fridge to gel. When its hardened enough cut it into orange slices =) To make the jello extra healthy you can use the orange juice from the orange instead of water! It was really cute and i really want to try it myself xP Plus is said you could do the same thing for lemons and limes, just substitute a diffrent color jello!

If any one trys this you should tell me how it goes xP It sounds like a really cute idea for a party food. I have a friend pregnate with twins and thought it would be a cute thing to make for her as an easy and cute celebratory desert xP

catarina_delana @ 10:33 am: Well im not a mother yet, but im working on it! lol One of my favorite things growing up was doing arts and crafts... One of the things i remember so clearly as a little girl (like 3!) was when we had green milk for saint patricks day.

Another fun thing to do with your kids (or for your kids as a surprise) is to take a little milk and a little food coloring and paint on toast =) you can make four leaf clovers for st. patricks day, bunnys for easter, hearts for valentines day, presents on birthdays, and lots and lots of diffrent things! Once your done painting the bread (don't let it get soggy) toast it and butter it and let the kids eat the creation =)
