At ishi_chan's ficathon, someone prompted the families of TVD (Mikaelsons, Petrovas, Salvatores, Gilberts, etc) as families in "Game of Thrones." I vowed I was done filling prompts for awhile so I could work on original stuff and my fic for heroinebigbang, but this...

I mean, the Mikaelsons would clearly be the Lannisters (complete with incest.) And the Salvatores would be the Baratheons, both because of the warring brothers aspect and the supreme amounts of alcohol ingested. The Petrovas would be the Tyrells, the Gilberts would be the Starks, the Bennetts would be the Martells, the Lockwoods would be the Targaryens, and that would leave the Forbes family as the Tullys, and the Fells as the Arryns. Matt would be the Night's Watch, poor and forgotten on the Wall.

Oh, crack fic, I just don't know how to quit you.

ETA: I broke. Go read "There Is No Middle Ground," in which Elena somehow became Jon Snow, Damon became Gendry, Rebekah and Klaus are Cersei and Jaime, Jenna is Sansa, and Kol is Joffrey.

I write to music. A lot of music. I'm the crazy person who has individual soundtracks, not only for every character but for every ship. So when I first thought about doing a fanmix for The Past is Prologue, I figured there was no way I could narrow it down to a managable amount of songs.

And then brightstarmara encouraged me to keep at it, and so you get this: 27 of the "important" songs for the story, broken down in chronological order based on chapter order (Yes, I have severe organization issues.)

Fair warning: Some of these songs use very bad language because I am musically schizophrenic.

More Author's notes: Um, I don't like to solicit for reviews and comments (mostly because I, in fact, am a horrible reviewer/commenter) but this literally took up 4 months of my life. Even if it's a two word response, good or bad, I'd appreciate it.
