Wow, it is great when people you know are exceptional go out of their way to make a difference in strangers lives. A couple of dear friends of mine have put together this project to help family's that cannot afford school supplies, as well as teacher/class supplies. We all know how hard things are but every little bit helps. They are looking for donations, referrals to families in need and for people to spread the word since this is a non-profit effort put together by 2 people with great hearts. I'm hoping I can be more involved now that I am out of school, I am attempting to volunteer as their camera person so they can do the drop-offs at the schools and I can shoot video to post on the site! Please let me know if you have any questions and spread the word!

| Introducing the Compilation Collective |

Starting today, there is a new mix CD club starting at the Rocket Star Cafe. Dubbed the "Compilation Collective", this is a simple way to hear new music with totally anonymous strangers.
It's easy to get started.
- Make mix CD with 10 tracks and bring to the Rocket Star Cafe.
- Inquire to the barista, he/she will give you an invitation that is also the packaging for the CD.
- Write track listing, wrap CD in packaging, and give back to the barista you will then receive someone else's CD.
- Listen and return. You may also make new mixes and keep the library going.
It's really that simple.
The only limitations are:
- only 2 tracks per artist per CD.
- write only "compilation collective" on the CD itself.
Have fun with this. Hopefully, people will get into it.

Hey.....I have to move before the end of the month and I can't take my two young cats where I'm moving too, both are around 7 months old, female...sisters...one is all gray with a white triangle on her neck...the other is gray and white tiger stripped......I have a very short time to find them both homes and I don't want to take them to the pound.....they are very sweet tempered and very affectionate and playful.....If you or anyone you know is interested please don't hesitate to call me at (269)271-4999...or email me at lolita1023@yahoo.com....Thanks, Michelle

Tomorrow at the high school is Remembering Yesterday, Ender and Gerudo.
Both shows start at 7. And are free.

There are no good/decent coffee houses up here in Marquette. Feel fortunate all you 'trolls' because it's like a desert up here as far as selection goes. NO coffee houses with couches. NO coffee houses with decent atmosphere. AND you can forget about the coffee.
