rowing. and alfie. but mostly just rowing and alfie
I never know what gets me into these moods, but I was searching the Westminster Boat Club's website for pictures of Alfie and found a few...
So, apart from admiring the muscles and long limbs and working very hard not to feel slightly pervy, I got really nostalgic for rowing.
[the expression on this one kills me. I know it too well: "christ, take the damn picture already, my muscles are dying."]

wow. arms.

and more arms.

yup. well toned.

this isn't a rowing picture, but it proves that this boy is ridiculously attractive. seriously.

I rowed for two of my four years in college and really loved it (even with the getting up at 5 for early morning practice, the fact that my coach kept switching me from port to starboard, so I'd just get my hands all calloused up for one side and then I'd switch and rip my hands all to shreds again, and the absolute insanity of the ERG tests that we had to do when the weather was too bad for rowing on the water).
On the website, they mentioned the Head of the Charles in Boston and the Head of the Schuylkill in Philadelphia -- both of which I've rowed in -- and it made me totally nostalgic for all of that.
Plus, male rowers have pretty insanely toned and gorgeous bodies. Oh, man, the memories of hooking up with a rower...
Do or did any of you row and share my sentiment? [on rowing or on alfie. :)]
