Just a few S2 stats I forgot to include, andserenography was awesome enough to do Clark/Tom's screentime averages for S2-S7, and I wanted to share those stats.
First, the averages
Here are the per episode averages for 2 through 7 for Tom/Clark.
S2 Clark - 22m54s Tom - essentially same
S3 Clark - 22m19s Tom - 22m56s
S4 Clark - 21m51s Tom - 22m17s
S5 Clark - 20m37s Tom - same
S6 Clark - 17m9s Tom - same
S7 Clark - 16m41s Tom - 18m21s
So, definitely a drop in screen time for our guy.
Just in case anyone needs to know (or questions the numbers), the formula used is:
Minutes x 60(to convert to seconds) + remaining seconds = total seconds for season (TSS). TSS divided by #of episodes = seconds per ep (SPE). SPE divided by 60 (converting back to #minutes). Decimal remainder x 60 to convert to #seconds.
Addtional S2 stats:
The longest episode of S2 was Accelerate at 43m, 30s The shortest episode of S2 was Redux at 40m, 11s
The highest and lowest screentime tallies for each character:

Maybe you're right, and they haven't closed the door on the Dean/Amy thing, but it sure seemed like it to me. And I also didn't appreciate Dean flinging the hell thing in Sam's face, considering…
