I'm wondering why for the song "Don't Mind Me I'm Only Dying Slow" they cut off the last three words? That is quite annoying. All you hear is: "Oh and don't, mind me baby......." Hello, the song title has three more words in it! Is it being censored?! Is "I'm only dying slow" too violent? Whatever it just bugged me because I wanted that as a ringtone but they don't even play the entire line. Mon, Jul. 4th, 2005, 01:50 am
Verizon Wireless has them too. It's under a new "Get it now" application called "VZW Tones". Just type in "Jackie Greene" in the search box and it should give you all of the songs from "Sweet Somewhere Bound". Sat, Jul. 2nd, 2005, 09:46 pm
I just went to my cell phone carrier's website: http://www.cingular.com and I was looking around for ringtones, so I typed in Jackie Greene and what did I find? All the songs from Sweet Somewhere Bound are ringtones! I've downloaded a few already. They are expensive but I don't care. So if your carrier has ringtones on their site, go check it out and see or you can go to cingular's and look as well! How exciting! Tue, May. 17th, 2005, 02:24 am

Alright everyone, I talked to Jackie for awhile tonight about things and such. He's hoping the new CD will come out sometime this year but what we need to do to help is actually email Verve Records and let them know you want to buy the new CD. Not the re-release of SSB but the actual NEW CD. Tell them you're ready to buy it. This will let them know there's a demand for it and they'll get it out faster. The faster they get it out, we can start spreading that one around. Also another idea is to call around to radio stations, especially in the big markets (i.e. Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco) and request songs that you've heard live that are the new ones. For instance, call up and say, "There's this awesome musician, Jackie Greene, I saw the other night play and I was wondering if you could play his song "Closer to you"? If they say they don't have it. It'll eventually catch on if enough of us call the same places and they might even look into finding out about this guy, Jackie, and contact verve to get a CD. So what do you all think? Go to http://www.vervemusicgroup.com Let's get this CD out. I'm dying to hear it! Sun, Feb. 6th, 2005, 11:02 am
That is my personal website for Avon Fundraising I understand that this doesnt have to do with Jackie Greene, but its very important to me. I understand most of you all are poor starving college students, like myself, but I/We need your help fighting breast cancer. I am doing 2 AVON 2-Day Walks. One in Washington DC and one in Los Angeles. Every year that I do these (since '02), I am inspired by the love of people uniting to find a cure. Please help me by donating money, or if you cant (remember that EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS) please pass this on to some friends, parents, employers (sometimes they do matching funds) etc. Every 3 minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer. Every 14 minutes a woman dies from breat cancer. 1/3 of the women with breast cancer do know it yet. Early detection is the key. Peace and hope Elizabeth Cota Wed, Jan. 26th, 2005, 11:12 am

Our local newspaper here in Sacramento, CA(Jackie's hometown), had a pretty cool article on him. Here's the link: http://www.sacticket.com/music/story |
