Ubergeeks!
 Welcome to  ubergeeks!Has anyone ever called you a geek? Or do you consider yourself to be a geek? If so, then the ubergeeks community is just for you! This community is a place for geek solidarity. Our mission is nothing short of Total World Domination. Topics of discussion will tend to focus on things that matter to geeks: geek literature, geek movies, geek TV, gaming, science, math, astronomy, history, psychology, sociology, linguistics, etymology, interesting links, Internet culture, geek websites, weird news, fanfic, famous geeks, technical support, and just about any other subject that is generally of interest to geeks. Ubergeek Icons
I thought it would be fun to have a space where icons made by people in this community can be stored for display. If you'd like to submit an original icon for storage, simply make a post displaying your icon. I will then upload it to Photobucket and add it to the Ubergeek Icons entry. The icons can then be viewed in the Memories section.

New Community
Come one, come all! brokina and I have created a new icon community with a drastically different approach to the LiveJournal icon-making experience. Full details about the procedures can be found on the community information page, but this icon contest community is set up like the television show ‘Survivor’ where 16 people will compete in an icon contest that spans several weeks. The prize has not yet been determined, but your input would be helpful. We are looking for serious, reliable, and talented icon artists and in order to compete you must submit an application following specific guidelines given on the community information page. Even if you are not interested in competing, join the community because competition will soon be underway. Oh yeah, and I bet you all were wondering the name of this lovely community. sinful_graphics - (337 members) - This community was created for graphics of an "adult" nature. Icons, Friends Only banners, Headers, Backgrounds, and much more! We have themed contests every week and the winners of those contests are eligible to win paid livejournal time or extra icons (read the user info page for more info) at the end of the month. Prudes should not join this community because it gets to hot at times! Requests are accepted, so if you have an idea for what you want but not the talent, tools, or inclination to make it come ask a member here and maybe we can help. :) Come join now and get in on our current icon contest! premier_icons - (14 members) - This is a brand new (non Adult) icon based community with a twist.
