( Locke observed him as he thrashed around the place, the presence of his former partner entering, perhaps unwittingly invading his body. He was a shallow vessel, even as the person he lived each day as, some may argue. With a fit and a jerk he then overcame the side-affects and ticks. Colours could barely be distinguished in this dark, but in one breath he could have sworn, that his harsh eyes turned a shade of pale grey. )

I really fancied having a go this week when I saw Monday's trigger at  60_minute_fics as I'd not written for a over a week, and knew I'd better start getting something down... But sadly the mod there is having internet troubles right now, and didn't have the chance to put any prompts up... I was a bit miffed, as I thought it was typical of me to decide I'd do a story the one week she wasn't there... It all worked out for the best in the end though, as when she finally got online, she didn't just post new triggers... instead she posted some from about three to four months ago, including one which I had a great Lost idea for but never got the chance to write... And now I had! It must have been fate... I took this as a sign, and thought I shouldn't miss the opportunity this time round... You had to pick one word from one column, and then one from another and put them together... My fiction is based on the phrase 'Cold Night'.

(A Lost adaptation of Sleeping Beauty)
I wrote this story for my pair-up buddy in the Lost Valentines Community challenge, and I thought I might share it with you all *grins* We had to pick a classic love story, or a fairy tale, and write the kind of story that our partner wanted... I was thinking about the dream/vision of Locke's, remember that in it he sees Boone covered in blood. Now I'm guessing Locke's a fairly perceptive guy, and it wouldn't be too hard to realise what this means Boone might well die.
With that in mind, what would happen? Would Locke carry through with what he saw? Would he try to change it? It would work well as an established relationship fic.
Any thoughts?
