Hogwarts Interesctive

Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive, a role-playing community. In here we are only are characters no one else. I am Josephine Malfoy but you can call me Jo, if you are friends with me. I am Draco’s twin sister. I run everything. Right now we need more characters from the books mot made up ones especially professor, I will love you for life if you pick one of those.


characters we need(but it doesnt mean you ahve ot pick these): ron and fred weasley, harry potter, draco malfoy, dumbledoor, any and all professors

plotline: its the start of a new year of harry potter's fifth year. nothing that happneed in the book happned yet and doesnt need to happen. no order of the phonix no dead characters. we are off to a fresh start.

How to get in:
1. You must either pick a character from the book or make one up yourself. If you are making up a character that is related to another character, you must ask that character first. Make sure you do not pick a character that is already here. There will be a "yearbook" on here with all students and professors.

2. You must email me (j_malfoy@excite.com) or IM me (jsphnmlfy) before you join with who you would like to be.

3. Once you have a character you must make an email and sn for yourself, but you don’t have to do both they just make the game more fun. Set up an email account at www.excite.com. Your email address must be related to your name. For example if you are Harry Potter you should have an email address like h_potter@excite.com. You can also set up an aim screen name similar to your email address. Try to have it the same as your email address but if the name is already taken, pick something similar.





Once youv'e been accepted:
1. Your first post must be the survey down below. This is so I know who is here and we all know you personality. If you are a character from the book, you must answer as close as your character as you can. If you made up a character, you can make up everything as long as it does not interfere with the plot line of the journal so far. *remember you cannot assume you are friends with someone if you are a made up character character. You must become friends with someone*

2. After all that you can post as your character. Post things that happened to you lately, pet peeves, poems w/e, as long as it goes along of the plot line of the journal. Once you have aim and a email address, you can I-M/email each other and post your I-M’s and emails. Then they can be apart of the plot line, but if you do not post it its not apart of the plotline. *You cannot make up conversations if the character you are “Talking” to is taken* I will post once a week with the Hogwarts bulletin which will give you updates on what’s happening around the school and the wizard community

3. After every post, you must sign with your character’s name so we know who posted.





Teachers:
1. If you are a teacher you can do all sorts of stuff, bust students for being out after curfew (10pm-7am) (this is what the aim is for) you can award points and take them away.

2. Teachers should also post once a week with a homework assignment for their students. Homework assignments shouldn’t be very lengthy and students should be able to find the answer in the book or online.(example there is a description of bow truckles in the book, kids can look up Jupiter’s moons online). If you do not post every week that fine because everyone deserves a break occasionally. But do not make it habitual or Dumbledore will talk to you.

3. If a student completes an assignment, they get 10 points added to there house and if they do not do the assignment, they get ten points taken away. Students can ask you for extra credit work, which is five points. *remember you can take and give points for other things besides homework*
