Pansy and Draco go for dinner.
Pansy spent the afternoon grooming herself for dinner with Draco. She wanted to look perfect, and yet effortless. It was amazing how much effort it took to make it look effortless.
Finally, she was content with her hair and make-up charms, her black silk and cashmere blend dress that clung to her, her heels.... Giving herself a final once over, she smiled and moved to the living, taking a dainty seat on the sofa and knowing the House Elves would usher Draco in when he arrived.
Pansy had been bored. She'd shopped. She'd gone out for lunch, flirted with the waiter, and then left him flustered and frustrated. It was a fun game, but it was much more fun with friends.
Friends.
She used to have them.
She MISSED having them.
As usual, she acted impulsively, summoning a quill and parchment and sitting at her writing desk.
Draco,
Darling, it has been an age. I miss you and I realized you have yet to take me out for dinner. Owl me back, love, and let me know when I should expect you.

Pansy felt almost like she was back in her Hogwarts school uniform as she stepped off of the bus at the designated stop and ran her hands over her knee-length black skirt. Granted, she wore a fitted suit jacket instead of a sweater, and no black tights ran down her legs, but for some reason as she looked for the nearest street sign, she felt a moment of her childhood days.
( 'Must be the feeling of being a bit lost,' she thought wryly, as the street sign she found failed to bear the name she'd expected it to.Collapse )
