Have you experienced one or more of the following:
Thinking far too much about Harry Potter for your own good?
An obsession with the minutiae of canon?
Wondering how exactly Halloween could be on a Saturday in both the third and fourth books?
Researching historical names for chemical compounds to give a fanfic potion that old-fashioned "wizarding world" feel?
Attempting to devise a workable system for Arithmancy?
Trying to translate the X-XXXXX system for the creatures in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them to a role-play attack rating?
DON'T PANIC!
You simply have a classic case of Harry Potter Nerd Syndrome. While there is no known cure, this disorder need not keep you from living a full and happy life. Just grab a Mountain Dew, pull up a chair, get out your calculator, CRC, scratch paper, and D20, and we'll figure this thing out together at least to a first approximation.
Community Rules:
Be respectful! We nerds can easily get our feelings hurt, and the last thing you want is to have someone who watches shows on forensic science for fun out for your blood. ;-)
