Highland Star (www.purevolume.com/highlandstarpa) is trying desperately to go on tour again this summer...but this time with some bands that are signed to bigger labels. At any rate, they recorded a 5 song CD at Portrait Studios (same place The Starting Line, The Early November, Senses Fail, etc have recorded) in Lincoln Park, NJ w/ Chris Badami (drummed for I Can Make A Mess Like Nobodys Business, which is Ace from the Early November's side project), and within the past year met Richard from Drive Thru Records (they were asked to come see him at his house in NJ!). At any rate, they are trying to go on tour w/ Halifax, because Halifax is offering 1 or 2 bands a spot on tour w/ them...basically no name bands that are good. I feel this would be a wonderful opportunity for my boys, because they are absolutely AMAZING (and I'm not just saying that because I know them personally and I'm dating the one, because I thought this even before we got together!!).
Anyway, what I need from you guys is for each and every one of you guys to email Halifax and basically tell them that they should have Highland Star go on tour w/ them.

Update:
Highland Star kicked Ditt out of the band. Cody is back.
Oh wait, I'm sorry, the guys made Nick do it, because no one wanted to be the bad guy.

They have a professional CD available for sale for $5.00. They had it recorded at Portrait Studios by Chris Badami (a lot of bands record there...The Starting Line, The Early November, etc etc etc).

Friday Highland Star have an interview w/ the record label (Blind). I'm nervous for them. I really hope everything works out. I try to be as supportive as possible.
Tuesday they play the Crowbar. Be there or DIE.
Next Friday they play the Burnham Lion's club.

Highland Star is having a show at The Crowbar (State College) on Monday the 29th. Cost is $3 for OVER 21 and $5 for under.
