Name: Helena Wayne, the Huntress LJ: helenawayne Fandom: World's Finest, DCnU Played by: Lyndsy Fonseca Canon Break: See Bio Ability: Helena Wayne has no super powers. She is a trained martial artist and gymnast. DCnU Update:
in the Post Flashpoint Earth-2 continuity, Helena Wayne was the original Robin to her father's Batman identity and a more ruthless character than previously seen. The Batman of Earth-2 is killed along with that World's Superman and Wonder Woman during an attempted Apokoliptian Invasion. Wayne only adopts the Huntress identity after accidentally arriving on the main DC Earth through a Boom Tube, same as the Earth-2 Supergirl who changes to Power Girl identity. The World's Finest storyline will explore how Wayne and Power Girl arrived on main DC Earth and their attempts to return to their source Earth. It starts five years after their arrival.
Helena was trained by Catwoman on Earth-2, and Batman was not in favor of their daughter becoming a superhero. He accepted her as his partner after Catwoman’s brutal death, and Robin was at his side from then until his death.
Huntress’ DCnU costume is a combination of the Earth-2 Catwoman’s costume and her own Robin costume. She pilfered money from Wayne Enterprises to help Kara establish her identity on Earth-1 as Karen Star while Helena appropriated the identity of Helena Bertinelli. She and Powergirl have been on Earth for 5 years, and she has yet to meet Batman who she calls Not Dad.
I will still be using Ashley Scott as her played by from my years of RPing Helena Kyle. Someday I might find another face for her, but I’ll have to think on that.
Helena Kyle Version:
Name: Helena Kyle LJ: helenawayne Fandom: Birds of Prey TV Played by: Ashley Scott Canon Break: See Bio Ability: See Bio Sample Post: Stately Wayne Manor
On a terrible night 14 years in the past, the Joker attacks the two women at the center of Batman's life: Catwoman and Barbara Gordon, who fought at Batman's side as Batgirl. With Catwoman dead, Batman mysteriously disappears from New Gotham. Barbara, now confined to a wheelchair, redefines herself with a complicated double life: by day, she is a teacher of computer sciences, but by night, she is "Oracle," a master of cybernetics and weapons design, who monitors the activities of New Gotham's criminals from her secret lair in the city's Clocktower.
Barbara takes under her wing the secret daughter of Catwoman and Batman, young Helena Kyle. Helena has inherited Batman's strong sense of justice, along with Catwoman's meta-human abilities. Although she longs for a normal life, she quickly grows into the fierce and beautiful "Huntress." The pull between good and evil is strong within her, and Barbara knows she must guide Helena carefully.
The Present – Helena Kyle left Gotham when the Batman returned. The city wasn’t big enough for the two of them. Leaving behind everything including her life as a vigilante, she has moved to New York City and opened a bar. She lives on trust funds set up by Bruce Wayne, although she never wanted to use his money. She now spends it as much as possible, so he’ll stop giving it to her. It’s twisted logic, but she keeps hoping it will work.
Somehow when she entered New York, her place in reality shifted. The world she knew is in comic books and not the real world. She’s been told about the converging timelines by Peter Petrelli, and she knows that she doesn’t belong there either.
She tends bar at the Dark Horse. While she owns the bar, most people think she’s only a bartender. Helena is thinking about going to college, but she doesn’t see the point in it. She’s having a very hard time not living the Life anymore, and occasionally goes out on patrol to kick the shit out of bad guys.
Abilities – She is metahuman, and possesses cat-like abilities inherited from her mother (also a metahuman in the Birds of Prey continuity): enhanced agility, strength, healing and a sixth sense for danger, as well as the ability to shift her eyes to a feline form. This change is usually triggered by strong emotion, but can also be used to grant Helena enhanced night vision.
