What is Hansonland? Hansonland began as a bit of a joke amongst a few members who were discussing (more like fantasising) about what it would be like to live in a world that is totally 100% Hanson related. Everything from the names of our streets and cities, to our occupations and lifestyles had to do with Hanson.
Eventually, this creative banter expanded into a thread of its own, and combined with the wit, humour and outrageous imaginations of our members here, formed into what is now known as Hansonland.
First and foremost, the thread exists to stimulate conversation about Hanson or about imaginary situations in the spirit of Hanson, but naturally, we talk about a wide range of topics too – everything from someone’s painful dental appointment to well, more obscure topics, like how many sets of keys we own and our fear of clowns and garden gnomes!
Perhaps most importantly, the thread has encouraged the growth of some genuinely deep cyber friendships with members swapping addys, supporting one another and looking out for one another. New friendships are made all the time. Hansonland is not only devoted to friendship, but celebrates creativity, talent and imagination, of which, there is definitely no shortage on these boards!
