Teehee...I just had a grand idea... why don't we have a Hanson Fan Quilt to put in our LJ info pages? Tori Amos fans do it with their sites, and I think it's a nifty idea. What you do is you add a comment to this with a 40x40 pixel little square (it must be 40x40 so that it won't be crooked) photo of Hanson with your name on it. Anyone who wants to will add your "patch" to their Hanson Fan Quilt in their info page, linking your patch to your LJ. Here's what I mean (link). So, I'll start it off:

Cross-posted! I went a little nuts looking up the whole "intrests" dealie. Saw all of those beautiful Hanson comms... So of course I had to join like 40 of them. I've been a Hanson fan since forever, only seen them live once (TTA), and I live in Chicago.
Okay, time for some blatant promo: I know there are some awesome Hanfic writers out there, so I started the  wordcandy_hitz community. It's a chain fiction community, where Hanfic is written through a collective effort of writers. Should be a lot of fun.

I know I have posted this before but I can't find it so, I was wondering if anyone has all of hansons performances, videos, appearances, etc. on tape or they have transfered to dvd either way, and can make copies of them for me and send them to me? Hm, did anyone see the mp3s of the Houston show that were up for a mere few days before the hanson nazis (*cough*ash*cough*) found them? Well, for some idiotic reason, I decided it would be okay to just stream them and listen instead of SAVING them. Apparantly, I didn't clue in that they would be FOUND.
So, my request is.. did anyone save them? If they did, and could contact me, I would lovelovelove them. My email is xpennylane@hotmail.com. Also, if you want to swap them for any other mp3s, I have the whole set of mp3s from the Lifebeat shows.
The only mp3 that I actually managed to save was "Broken Angel" and I've been listening to it on repeat for 3 hours now. Someone save me and send me more music!

It was wonderful.
It was so cute how the family was all there. Diana and Jessica (mom and sis) were selling merch...and Walker (dad) was on-stage the whole time videotaping. It is amazing how much Jessica looks like Taylor did when he was 14...but she does have Zac's teeth. The wife was also there...she even came down on the floor. She didn't die because she was holding the kid.
They were so close to the crowd. MM. If they could just stop being completely sexaliscious for one second, I may have been able to get a breath in.
I was surprised at the set list. Each of the boys had his own solo..alone onstage. Ike's was a guitar solo and Tay and Zac's were piano. Taylor played "Never Let Go". It was beautiful. I couldn't tell what song it was that Zac played...but I NEED it. Ike played "Call Me"..again a song I have never heard. The only old songs they played were "with you in your..", "MMMbop", "this Time around" and the chorus of "weird" a capella as an encore. Some 50's stuff was also in order.
I still don't feel like I was there.
