Meet our volunteers and discover over 400 years of Greyfriars history.
Entry to the Kirk is free, although donations are encouraged and greatly appreciated. Your contribution helps us: keep our doors open to future visitors, maintain our beautiful Kirk building, preserve over 400 years of history, remain a significant place of worship and ministry, continue to support the arts and cultural events.
Information boards with a self-guided tour are available on entry, in a variety of languages.
Our friendly team of volunteer Welcomers are on hand to answer any questions you have.

Please note: On days when the Kirk is listed as closed, we may be open for an event. For example, throughout August, we are proud to be a Fringe Festival venue. Therefore, we are closed for general visiting many days in August, but we have a full programme of ticketed Fringe events available.
