Danielle's Athens gigs
Hi all! I'm just new here but what a good find and just at the right time! I've been a Dax fan for years now and like all of you have been missing her over the years. So, it is so good to see that she is back working again. I've never seen her live and unfortunately missed the London and Paris gigs this year so will definitely be going to Europe to see her (I've just decided to go to the Athens gig(s)). Is anyone else going and would like to hook up...only I have never been to any gigs out of Britain before so don't know what the deal is. cheers! Current Mood:  tired |

Danielle's website may still be in the works, but she has a spot on the infamous Myspace now, and they finally got some music added. And apparently Danielle will doing some sort of spoken word performance in Paris soon, as well. Hello ! Just joined this community, massive danielle dax fan. absolutely adore her. Anyway i'm in the process of setting up a fansite and i'm after images, articles, reviews..well basicly absolutely anything to do with miss dax. Also, last night i e-mailed danielledax.com offered my services. and i recieved a e-mail from Dave Knight saying.. Hi Amy,
We haven't done much work towards it yet - I'm waiting for Danielle to give
me a layout of how she wants it to look, and she's busy with various things
so it's on the back-burner. I may be forced to go ahead and put a cursory
site together in the meantime anyway, as I'm getting queries on a daily
basis!
Thanks for your offer of help, if I can't get to the end of this Dreamweaver
manual expect a shriek!!

Whoa, Danielle Dax....
What a crazy, beautiful woman. Funny she's doing interior design on a British telly show! No disrespect or anything, I just find it amusing that the same woman who put out the Pop-Eyes meat cover is designing on telly! Man....I don't actually have any of her albums yet, but I've heard enough songs to be clinically obsessed and I'm just wondering where I may happen upon some of her music videos? Anybody on here like Lemon Kittens or the Timber Tongue EP? I love her vocal albums, but the experimental/Industrial music she's done I find absolutely beautiful -- it's actually composed of patterns rather than just being flat-out noise. |

Hi all!
I'm so happy to find this place, God but I miss her music. I've never been fortunate enough to see her perform, and it appears I never will be. So I content myself by listening to her music and bringing all my friends into the Cult of Dax. If Duran Duran can release new material, maybe we could talk her into it. On a slightly more serious note... Jon Crosby, aka VAST, has his own production company now where artists are charged a whopping $5 a month to sell their music. It's great to find a community specifically for Danielle Dax fans! I'm such a fanaic, that I have gone to open mics and sang her songs acapella. They all think I'm insane. Anybody know where I can find Lemon Kittens on CD? |
