This community is the beginning. It's the beginning of a project started by a girl who wants to revolutionize popular media. She wants to shove Glamour and Cosmo and Maxim off of the magazine racks, and put something up there that everyone wants to read, and can do so without risk of feeling bad about themselves. She wants the content of this magazine to be up to YOU. To be drive by readers. Created by Readers. Loved by readers. To give you a place to connect with people who think like you and live like you.
So here's how it works. +Join the community. +Post an entry about yourself, so readers can get to know who YOU are. Feel free to leave links to your own personal blog, or email, AIM, or whatever- so people can contact you. It's all about the connections. +Then- post anything. Post your artwork, your photography, your poetry, your angry rant about the injustices of society, or homework, or parents, or moldy cheese. Whatever means something to YOU. +Read what other people have posted and leave comments giving them a ranking 1-5. One being the worst, 5 being the best. +The submissions with the HIGHEST points from readers commenting and voting, will be published in the next issue of Quite Contrary Magazine
