TimeGate is the Doctor Who, Stargate, and more convention in Atlanta, GA, USA, held annually over the Memorial Day weekend. This year, the dates are May 27th through May 29th, 2011.

But, of immediate importance is the fact that May 6, 2011 is the pre-registration deadline for TimeGate 2011. If you want to still register for the $40 rate, Friday is your last chance! Head on over to http://www.timegatecon.org/memb.htm to get your membership in before the rate changes to the at-the-door rate of $50!
Sophie Aldred, who played Ace, companion to the Seventh Doctor, and Mike Dopud, who plays Varro from Stargate Universe, are the actor guests for the Doctor Who and Stargate programming tracks. The con has three tracks of programming: one track for Doctor Who, one track for Stargate, and a third track titled Otherworlds that covers a wide range of interests from Sherlock Holmes to Disney and beyond. Timegate will also have live bands, a writer's workshop, gaming, video commentaries by fans and the guests, a masquerade, party battles, and so much more! Hi guys! As you might have heard, we as the fans are campaigning to get both the Stargate Atlantis and SG1 movies made. One of the things we needed to get started was a campaign logo, and the contest is underway to pick one! We have six great entries that you should really check out. Let us know which one you like and then stay tuned for the exciting ways we are planning on using that logo!

The Stargate Movie Campaign is currently holding a contest for a fan created, original, and official logo for the campaign. This will be used in just about every way we can--Tshirts, flyers, banners, websites, and the official mailing campaign that will start once MGM passes the Stargate franchise onto another company. We are also taking submission for banners and icons for the campaign. Come join the fight for the greenlight!

There is a lot of fic here, and people have posted as recently as September, so we don't want to close it or anything, but neither of us are doing anything here anymore and thought there might be someone else who would like to take over.
