Innovation Ministerial: Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina

Raleigh and Durham are neighboring cities that make up two of the three points of North Carolina’s “Research Triangle.” This booming innovation hub is renowned for its highly educated workforce, rapid population growth, and high quality of life. The region is driven by world-class educational institutions that generate billions of dollars in annual research. They’ll also find a business climate centered on iconic American brands, breweries and advanced manufacturing. Foreign Ministers' Meeting: Atlanta, Georgia

Atlanta is an international business hub. Its Hartfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport welcomes more than 200 direct flights, putting the world within reach and making it a perfect location for the G20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in October 2026. A lush tree canopy is part of Atlanta’s skyline, and the city’s vast green space includes hundreds of parks and trails. (The Silver Comet Trail is one of the longest in the United States.)

While Atlanta’s history goes back to the 1800’s, the city today is a hub for global supply chains, AI innovation, and government-led technology initiatives — all priorities for a successful G20.

Trump National Doral Golf Club

Trump National Doral Golf Club, with its four golf courses, including the famous “Blue Monster,” is in a dynamic suburb northwest of Miami and close to Miami International Airport. Golf legends Tiger Woods, Greg Norman, and Jack Nicklaus are among the professionals who have teed up here. The Trump Organization purchased the golf resort in 2012.

Near the club, Doral offers upscale retail and dining, from the pedestrian-friendly shops and cafes at CityPlace Doral to an international restaurant scene with many options for Latin American and Asian cuisine.

Visitors can explore the nearby Doral Contemporary Art Museum or outdoor spaces of Doral Central Park and Doral Legacy Park.

Mar-a-Lago

On a barrier island in Palm Beach, Florida, two counties north of Miami-Dade, Mar-a-Lago is a National Historic Landmark. Its 114-rooms are surrounded by landscaped grounds that include a golf course on the shores of Lake Worth and a beach on the Atlantic Ocean.

The lavish mansion was built in the early 20th century in the Spanish Revival style for cereal magnate Marjorie Merriweather Post. In the 1980s, the Trump organization bought it, with its furnishings intact. Mar-a-Lago opened as a private, dues-paying club in the 1990s. The president made it his permanent residence in 2019.

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens

This early 20th-century estate, built by the agricultural equipment industrialist James Deering and owned today by Miami-Dade County, boasts formal Italian-inspired gardens and waterfront views.

The building, meant to be approached from the sea, comprises a monumental east façade that opens to a wide terrace descending toward the water, a swimming pool that emerges from vaulted arches of the home, and antique furnishings.

In 1987, then president Ronald Reagan hosted Pope John Paul II here for private meetings. The site has hosted other diplomatic events such as the Summit of the Americas.

Everglades National Park

America’s Everglades is the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States. Established in 1947 as the first national park created for its biodiversity, Everglades National Park protects 1.5 million acres of wetland, forest, and marine habitats and the native plants and animals that call it home. With several international designations, the park provides a major source of drinking water for local residents of South Florida and recreational opportunities for all.
