I WAS a Good Boy!

BERJAYA

I was a good boy until about 8 weeks ago. I never did anything bad. I was perfect. My Mama said so.
She has to follow me around now and pick up my own poop because I poop it and eat it if she is not near by. She noticed while I was eating grass, the photo above and below, see how I dipped my head? and I dug a little with my nose, and SHE jumped into my face and there it was.
A single hard as a rock poop and I had already eaten one, chewing it like candy.

BERJAYA

See the poop below? the most she finds is 1 or 2 of them. never a pile. She had fun trying to ID the poop, it came down to raccoon or possum. this is possum.
I think I heard her mumbling about its only two miles to the shelter I came from.
Maybe not. She does love me a lot.
MAMA here. the problem is we go out in the dark and I can't see the poop, Also I think the Possum buries it, he digs it up.

BERJAYA
Guess what? Daddy said he just caught me licking duck splat from the pool deck.
If I disapear you will know WHY
Since this is Selfie Sunday this will have to do.... or maybe I should say DO DO! ha ha ha

Opossum on Nature Friday

BERJAYA

Mama and I are thankful we have seen opossums run across the road in front of us on our break of day walks,

BERJAYA

We are thankful we have seen them run over the power line over our head while walking.

BERJAYA

We are thankful we have seen them often running on top of our backyard fence, through our backyard fence and climbing over our fence.
Last week we saw one in a totally different way.

BERJAYA

Just as Mama and I reached the 4 way stop signs, on our morning walk, we saw an opossum under the giant banyan tree. she was about to dart across the street, it was still dark, not quite daybreak.  Mama said, Look Beau she is headed home because Opossums are nocturnal and it's rare to see them out after daybreak, let's stop and stand still and see what she will do. Mama said that is the same one that comes in our backyard. She lives in the neighbors overgrown back yard, she and her family. We see her a lot, because our beginning of our walk is on her pathway to her home and our home.

We stood watching to see what she would do, and she would look at us, and look away, look and look away. Suddenly she made her decision and darted to the bottom of the white fence. She would run a few feet and look over her shoulder at us, run another few feet and check us out again. Mama was laughing out loud. She reached the end of the fence and darted into a tall green hedge, we saw her nose and eyes peeking out as us as we continued our walk. I was a good boy; I do not chase critters.

Butt, I  was..... to be continued

Beau LOOK

BERJAYA

Beau, Look at Mama! Beau LOOK LOOOOK!  we have a possum family. they came to visit and play, all the way from AI-land. Beau??

Mama I AM NOT LOOKING, I am tired of your cell phone pics.

Beau LOOK LOOK! Ok Fine, just miss the parade of possums...

Mama did this because we did have a BIG opossum out by the pool 3 days ago, and boy could he run fast. Mama turned the flood light on, slid the glass door back and forth and he ran like the wind. I ran too and sniffed myself silly. boy did he leave a track for me to follow. This was at 3 am. in the dark.

Feline Friday with Beau on Final Friday FeatureAI

BERJAYA
AI and Mama creation

Mama talked to my human brother, Dan, and he said the Feral cat Mama and the 3 kittens he had snipped and returns, keep them laughing. It seems the feral feeding station has attracted two local Opossums, and they all line up and eat together. Below is a cat that looks like his Mama Cat, found on Google. The photo reminded Mama of a story from 1974

When my other human brother, Dave was in 4th grade, Mama was at work, taking telephone calls for people ordering from Sears Catalog. Her co-worker said, Sandra I have Davids School on the line for you. The principle said, I have David in my office, you need to come pick him up. He came to school with a rat in his jeans pocket and will not let us remove it. Mama answered and drove really fast to the school because we did not own a rat or mouse.
Mama told me when she got there, David was crying and telling her, that teacher wanted to flush it down the commode, they were going to kill it and he pulled out a baby possum that looked exactly like the one below, through his sobbing, David said while walking to school he found a dead mama possum, and her babies in the road, one  was still alive and he HAD to bring it to school with him.
Mama, said of course you did, and said to the principal and teacher, you wanted to KILL the possum, you wanted to flush it down the toliet? OF COURSE he would not give it to you. It is NOT a rat, its a baby possum. She said if I take it can he stay in school? The answer was yes, and when my brother David got home after school, she had been to the vet to get a bottle and goats milk because they can't drink cow milk and had the baby in a nice box, with a towel. They fed it for 3 days, but it was too young to live.
Mama said, yes, they both cried.

BERJAYA

We have decided that AI is an IDIOT because these are the crazy pics it created when she asked for baby opossums eating out of bowls with kittens.

Mama was in the back yard with me for my first potty of the day, and she decided to try the night mode on her new cell phone. Above is out of the cell phone. The rest of these are edits done in the cell phone. The lights were on in the kitchen and were reflecting in the pool.

She had to PLAY with them, because she took the one photo and a loud, unholy, scary fight erupted on the other side of the fence in the neighbors back yard. Can you guess what it was? She made me go inside.

BERJAYA

Did you guess it was this possum? Wrong! It was baby Raccoons that live in that yard with possums and snakes and Owls and Birds. it's a dark jungle over there... The reason for this Possum is, when we walked our morning walk, she saw the possum come racing down the line, out of the neighbor's back yard, like it was be chased by the hounds of the Baskervilles. It ran right over our heads and down to the next pole and disappeared down the pole.   The first two Possums are what AI created for her and she found the one on the line online. She had no chance to take her own photo.

She had the possum ready to post and decided to add the back yard photos with it. Those fighting Coons scare her to death... She is not afraid of this cute little possum.

Not my turn BUTT

I know I am not supposed to post today, its not my turn. BUTT yesterday, at 4 am, Tuesday, April 11, 2023, I the Best Beau Boy EVER, went out the door with Daddy, and did my jaunt around the pool in the dark  A.M. and I raced into the corner behind the now full rain barrel and came out with

BERJAYA

A baby raccoon. Mama did not get to see this, but she heard daddy say put it down and raced to the door.
Daddy told her I put it down, and came to him and it ran away. He said he missed most of it because by the time he turned on his flashlight, it was gone.
That means my Mama had to take a photo of the rain barrel, add me, add a baby racoon from picmonkey free photos and create a flashlight effect.
THE POINT IS I am the Best Dog EVER. I harm nothing. Daddy said the baby made no noise at all which means I carried it carefully, no biting, just like when I brought mama the baby possum last year.
Mama says this means the mama possum is still here, this is an old photo of the mama that lives in our yard. That is the daddy behind her. She was in our pine tree.
