Hey guys, I just joined a while back and I've loved Metallica for more than 7 years now. They're my favorite band of all time and one day I will see them live, hopefully.
So, in honor of them, I created a community dedicated to helping Metallica fans decorate their journals with the best metal band on earth. To get you started I have posted 12 icons and a friends only banner featuring the four horsemen over at my community  metallicons. It's fairly new, so join up and post your icons and graphics over there, or even get a few for yourself.

Hey there everyone!
im new to the community, I just recently...like 4 days ago saw Metallica play their first show EVER in London, Ontario. It was possibly the best day of my life...also the best concert ive been to. lol. Seeing them from front row amazed me and literally took my breath away. Having my hero, god, master(i could go on but i wont) James Hetfield actually aknowledge my presence at the concert(he pointed at me smiled and gave me a thumbs up then mouthed Thank You after i yelled Hetfield is God) made my life, my friends thought i was gunna pass out lol.
Anyways waht im trying to say is i love Metallica...and everything about them!

Celebrity Deathmatch episode: Mankind fights Ernest Hemingway, while Potato Khan tangles with Beni-Trauma. The main bout features Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst against Metallica's James Hetfield.
Video Music Awards: It isn't this year's its just a rerun of last year's where Metallica performed a medley of past VMA winning songs plus Frantic.
Loaded: If you've never watched this show, its basically 30 mins of videos from just one band.
When Metal Ruled the World: A VH1 special about just what it says, When Metal Ruled the World. People who talk about it: Poison, AC/DC, KISS, Ratt, Metallica, Cinderella, Axl Rose, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Ozzy Osbourne and Twisted Sister.

Went to see the movie last night it was fuckin awesome!! After we got a Q & A with one of the Directors. He said this weekend is crucial to the movie's success because if it make good #s it will go into wide release. If they don't do as well, it will not. He said if your planning to see this movie (and I recommend it highly) go see it this weeekend if you can.  mmelonghairs and i are going to see it again tomorrow.
