I just sent out an email to everyone, but I thought I would also post here if people cared to comment or ask questions.

Last week, I asked a few questions about how things are going and possibly extending the deadline. Several people expressed a desire for more writing time, and since this challenge was a bigger one than usual and I know most of us are quite busy with real life as well, I have decided to extend the deadline to 12:01am, Saturday May 21st.

For those people who finish by the original deadline, your stories will go up on as originally scheduled, so if you're almost finished and ready to submit, don't worry about waiting an extra month. As stories come in between the original April deadline and the new one in May, I will validate stories.

I hope this extra time to write will help out everyone who is feeling stressed about the upcoming deadline.

Stories are due in a little under a month.

If it looks like several people need more time, I'd be willing to extend the due date for stories. Please let me know!

I'm a few days late on this week's discussion! Sorry about that. Real life and such. You know how it goes.

Anyway, we've discussed which brother(s) your stories will feature and how things are moving along so far.

We haven't touched, however, on genres. We had some pretty interesting challenges to use this time around, so what genre does/will your story fall under? Was it what you were expecting to write? Or did the challenges steer you in a different direction than what you're used to?

Now that everyone has had some time to sit with and consider their assignments, how are you feeling about your story?

Do you know what how and where you're going to use your prompts, or are you just taking it as it comes?

Also, what's your current word count?

Since it's been almost a week since assignments were sent out, we should all have some kind of idea of what we're writing. Rather than focusing on the brainstorming process this week, I want to know which brother(s) will be the star(s) in your story.

Everyone should have got an email with their assigned challenges.

We had an interest mix of prompts, so I'm just wondering what everyone's initial reactions are?

Happy? Worried? Plotting already? Totally stumped?

I still can't believe it! I wrote 4 1/2 parts today!! I was sure it was going to take me until Friday night at 11pm to finish it, which would have been cutting it really close since I'm going on vacation on Saturday!

But today I finished the story and I'm so very proud of it!
