 | 09:14 pm - VEC MP3s off IUMA Since IUMA's server is pretty unreliable, I've put all the Viscous Elvis Cyst MP3s on the findingdatura.com server. Take a listen at the VEC discography page Just roll over the track titles to see if there are downloadable.

 | 11:31 pm - Finding Datura zine's birthday... Today marks the first birthday of the Finding Datura zine and it also marks the first official day of my hiatus from zine making. I really don't have the time to be making zines on a regular basis while I'm in school. Also, I need to not spend the money it costs to make a print zine. I'm sure I will get back to making a print zine but not for a while.
So, in the meantime I will be focusing on the Finding Datura website, make it into a functioning ezine. I'd like to do some redesigning also. We'll see how it goes.

 | 11:31 am - Support Child's Play

Child's Play is a fantastic charity organized by the fellas at Penny Arcade. They were insanely successful last year and hopefully this year will be even better.

 | 10:44 pm - back to the blog I've decided to use the findingdatura livejournal as a news site again. It's just a better, easier way to post updates. But, this time around, the blog will be a community, so other LJers can comment on the news items. Also, some people other than myself will be given posting access, so that should make this blog a little more interesting.
This blog will be giving news related to all the stuff on findingdatura.com. The zine, the Zine Recycling Center, VEC, and whatever might end up in the Finding Datura family.
If there is any news now it is this: The next issue of the Finding Datura zine will be released in mid-Nov. That will be the first anniversary of the zine. It should be a great issue and very different than the first issues since the focus has changed quite a bit.
