Yes, I am over 18 yrs old. I was born in 1985, so you do the math. This new "policies" of LJ may suck, IMHO, but it's their rules. No one can do anything about it. I don't wanna move out, mainly because majority of my wonderful and amazing flist will be staying here too.
All fanworks of mine that would suggest adult content will be friends-locked. Or will most likely be hosted in another journal or site of mine.
