| All the information has been sent out to the applicants. You all now have the information you need to start making your gifts. - Everyone's gift must be based on a MOVIE TITLE. This does not mean rewrite that movie with HP characters in it; it's more of a prompt. You can take a scene or a theme from the movie you pick or pick a title the sounds interesting or that sparks an idea and create your own take on it. You don't have to have seen the movie you pick, just like the title.Go on, the film industry is your oyster. - This exchange is secret. That means keep who you have a secret from everyone. I'm not going to hunt you down if you tell your best friend "Oh, I have so-and-so, any suggestions about what they might like?" but it is important that so-and-so doesn't find out that you have their name. Beside, it's just loads more fun for everyone if no one knows who anyone else has. :D So mum's the word. - The deadline for submissions is 1 January, 2009. If you can get your gift in before the deadline, that would be awesome but I must impress upon you how important it is that nothing is turned in late. If you really run into a serious problem and absolutely cannot get your gift in on time, talk to me. - All information about gift formatting can be found in the userinfo. Actually, I highly recommend that everyone go read the userinfo. It's not very long nor complicated - it's mostly the application form, really - so it shouldn't take long to look over. If you have any questions, comments - anything, please comment here or, if it's something more private or if it concerns the person you're supposed to be making the gift for, email me at tehpadfoot@gmail.com and I'll help you out. Be free, bbs! P.S. If you have not received an email from me, let me know immediately and I'll resend it. It is titled 'FandomCommerce Info Winter 08' and I sent it out late last night/early this morning so it should have made it's way into your inbox by now. | |

| Time for the yearly Wintertime Fandom Commerce fun! This year the theme is MOVIE TITLES. Art and fic based on your own original take on the title of any movie, to be made into a holiday gift for someone special. If you have never done this exchange before or are rusty on how things work, all the information is in the fandomcommerce userinfo, but here's a quick summery: - Go to the community user info, read through everything there, fill out an application (found in the user info) and send it to me, Hannah, at tehpadfoot@gmail.com or to my favourite little helper, Kenzie, at tehsnivilus@gmail.com. - Once I have everyone's applications in, I will assign who gets whom based on compatibility of interests and email you all individually with the information from their person's application that they will need to make the perfect gift for that person. - Make your gift. You about about two months and lots of support. It can be fic or art, whichever you prefer. - All gift submissions are due New Years Day, 2009 and will be posted for everyone to ohh and aww over in the weeks following. Application submissions are due no later than November 4th, 2008, and you should get your assignments in the week following.Hope to see some old faces, some new ones, you're welcome to invite any of your friends or your flists to participate. The more the merrier. If you have any questions at all, comment here or send me an email, I won't bite and I'm happy to explain any question you might have. So send in those applications, guys! It's going to be a great round. | |

| I know. It's so late I bet you all have given up on me entirely. I could make excuses about school and finals of death and two separate bouts of sickness but I won't because most of you have had to listen to me whine about all these things for months now. :) So I'll get down to business. 1 made a gift for 2, 2 made a gift for 3, 3 made a gift for 4, etc. 16 made a gift for 1. Tada! Thank you all for a) waiting so patiently for so long before I posted this XD and b) for making such fantastic gifts for each other. :D Every single piece(s) turned in were just wonderful and I enjoyed reading and looking at every one - I know the rest of you did too. Hope everyone had as much fun as I did. Your Lazy and Generally Horrible Mod, -Hannah | |
