Harvey pressed his fingertips into his forehead as he waited for the guard to buzz him in. This was not the headache he needed tonight.

He sat down on one side of the table and waited. A moment later, Mike was brought in and directed to the opposite chair.

For an extended length of time, Harvey didn't say a damn word. He wanted to let Mike stew for a bit. This was Mike's mess.

Finally, Harvey began with, "You wanna tell me why I'm getting a call from county lock-up about my associate running naked through Central Park?"

Mike actually had the wherewithal to think before he answered that question. "I hadn't planned to be naked."

"You'd better plan to like orange," Harvey said, even though the prison outfits were blue.

"C'mon, Harvey. Can't you get me out of here?" Mike whined.

Harvey shook his head. "Not tonight. You have to go through arraignment." He sighed and leaned back in his chair. "How come you never told me about your prior arrest for public indecency?"

Mike dropped his head to the table and tapped it there a couple times. "I was sixteen, man. It was stupid high school tricks."

"Were you high?"

"Yeah."

"With Trevor?"

Mike grumbled. "He's my best friend. I'm not doing this again." He picked his head up. "If you can't get me out tonight, then, I'm gonna go back to the cell. I think it's meatloaf night."

Harvey watched Mike get up from his chair. "You'd better run through all of the legal research in that head of yours and dig up your defense. Because I'm not doing the work for you."

"If I didn't already know you're an asshole, this would definitely fill me in."

"Get the fuck outta here, Mike. I'll come meet you in the morning for court."
