The Sandbox of Evil is a fanfiction community moderated by emony and niennah. Here, a small group of writers have come together to play in each others' sandboxes and write inside the universes they create. Ergo the name.
The purposes of the community are: 1. To encourage feedback between authors and other readers. 2. To open up new 'verses in which people can play.
The fanfiction is based on the following fandoms: Buffy the Vampire Slayer Angel the Series Firefly Stargate SG-1 Stargate Atlantis Harry Potter
All are welcome to come and read the fic. We appreciate all comments and constructive feedback left for the writers of this community.
Membership of this community is strictly moderated. Only those who write fanfiction in the fandoms and 'verses of the community will become full members with posting access.
You do not need to become a member to read the fic. Just friend the community and it will appear on your friends page.
If you would like to become a member, please apply for membership via the link above, as well as leaving a comment at the Membership Application Post. Please follow the instructions in the post to apply. Any application not accompanied by a comment to the Application Post will be automatically denied.
1. The decisions of the moderators are final on all matters.
2. If your fic includes any spoilers - by "spoilers", we mean anything, aired or unaired, from the currently airing, new season of a show - warn for it and put it behind a cut.
3. All fic, no matter how long or short it is, must go behind a cut.
4. If you want to write in a fandom that is not currently on the above list, please do ask us and we'll consider adding it.
5. Playing in other people's 'verse is fine, encouraged even - that's part of what this community is about. But please drop a comment or an email to the author before posting anything set in anyone else's verse. It's polite to ask before you play in someone else's sandbox.
6. Some authors will be okay with their 'verses being playing with, some will not. We respect that. No means no.
7. If you're writing in someone else's 'verse, please make it clear who the 'verse's original author is, and provide a link back to the original work. The whole thing if it's in one place, or the first part if it's posted as LJ entries or in parts.
8. If you have written a 'verse that you don't want anyone else playing in, permanently or for a period of time while you work on it yourself, please make it clear when posting. That said, if you have issues with other people playing in your sandbox, this may not be the community for you.
9. The following formulae must be used with every piece of fic posted to this community:

10. For Harry Potter fics especially, though this rule applies to all fandoms: No inter-generational fics allowed. That is, any fic posted that features an adult paired with a minor will be deleted.
11. There will be some R and NC-17 rated material in this community. Please do not read it if you are underage in your area.
12. All rules are subject to modification, and more rules may be added at any time by the moderators.
