... I seem to have the Tiny Toon Adventures theme song stuck in my head.
Huh. Okay then.
Somewhere along the way this icon has become my Sarah icon. Like... I see it and I think "Sarah". I don't have that with any other icons on this journal, but I have on other journals in the past, so it's not too weird. I'm just -- not entirely sure why this one. I think it may have something to do with Roger and Ali, to be entirely honest.
In other news, I think I'm going to be changing LJs soon. I've wanted to for a while and I finally found a name I like. Well, I know I will, since I'm, er, setting it up. But. Just a PSA. I'll post an official 'switching' post, but for now, if you want to be added, feel free to drop an early comment here. |

So tired. My books and videos and notebooks are now on boxes on the porch. Will probably go on a typing-up spree when the notebooks come out. You all can revisit how much I sucked three years ago. XD
Have lost my brains for tagging, augh. And for... anything except politics, apparently, which I blame on the talk shows we listen to all day. (Dennis Prager's Happiness Hour makes me gleeful. That is all.) |

Dead fucking tired and just finished eating dinner.
Should be around tonight while Mom goes to the laundry -- not sure when that'll be, but probably around 11ish at the latest. I'm probably going to need distractions, so if you want to roleplay, drop me a comment and let me know. I kind of fail at threading lately, but I'll give it a try if you want to throw a post my way (and/or ask me to make one, I'm flexible! You'll just probably get things rolling sooner if I'm thrown a post and told to throw someone at it, cause I tend to go braindead for setups and posts can take a halfanhour or better) -- or if you're gonna be around then, chatting works just as well, possibly better. Or just let me know to ping you when I get on and details can be given them. I'm highly flexible. And highly restless and annoyed.
ETA: Laundry is off till tomorrow; but I may still be around tonight if Mom decides it's too late to work and goes to bed. And I SHOULD be around tomorrow morning when she DOES go do laundry. So consider the option still open. |

Randomly, you know what I find incredibly amusing?
On the DVD of Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged!) -- which is amazing and I recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it -- somebody screwed up the subtitles. Anywhere a title is supposed to be italicized, it reads a [i] in front of it.
So at one point, the screen reads--
i]Hamlet
If I am recalling correctly.
I just find this hysterical. Am I alone?
So -- yes. I'm going to check things until Mom needs it back. And then curl up and watch them do [i]Hamlet. And wish I had cable, because, augh, Burn Notice. :P But we'll have INTERNET TOMORROW, so I can actually WATCH IT ONLINE this weekend if my mom goes out and does anything. YAY. |

So, four things to say.
First: I have now tried five times to start reading the Golden Compass trilogy and I just... cannot get past the second page. Which sucks, because this fandom trend with daemons looks like a LOT of fun and I'd love to join in, but I feel iffy having not even read a chapter or two of the source material. So. People who've read it. Does it get better? Is it worth sticking with? Or if I can't get into it from the start... should I just drop the damn thing?
Second: I got really random today and wordcounted my logs, and holy. fuck. Seriously. One of them is almost 10k. Of course, this has been going on and off for over a month. But MY GOD. And one only has two brief sessions, and is already almost 5k. Even two short ones that were barely even started, really, are over 700 and over 1600, respectively. Brief characters-abducting-the-conversation that I was sure would be barely 500 is 800-something. Apparently this is not a recent thing, either, because one SESSION -- not even a full 'verse log, just one scene from LAST March is 639. Why can I not go on like I do in logs when I'm WRITING? I mean, half those words are mine!
Third: Burn Notice is awesome and amazing and love and yes, I did get the latest episode to work and OH MY GOD, I love my show.

It... has been a very long twenty-four hours and I'll leave it at that. Hopefully I will be around tonight. I've been in a hell of a roleplaying mood since yesterday night, so I'll be doing tags and if anyone wants of me tonight, either to pop someone in somewhere or via AIM/IRC/Gchat, poke me and let me know.
And in that spirit, because I'm curious. I know these have been going around pupjournals, but I have so many pups without journals and such that-- well, why not here? I will be posting to certain journals that are used more often, but I'd rather just have it here.
So, I don't know anyone who doesn't feel like they aren't getting enough feedback. So... let's give some. What do you like about my pup? What do you think could be improved? What things about them do you not understand that you'd like elaborated on?
