Georgi Varbanov (Bulgarian: Георги Върбанов; born 27 September 2000) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Septemvri Sofia.[1]

Career

Varbanov was part from Vitosha Bistritsa before moving to Yantra Gabrovo on 14 October 2020, along with Vitosha's manager Kostadin Angelov.[2] On 12 July 2023, he moved from Yantra to Pirin Blagoevgrad.[3] In June 2024, Septemvri Sofia expressed a desire to sign Varbanov, as Pirin was relegated from the First League, and completed the transfer before the start of the season.[4]
