This started as an alternate journal to back up LJ, where I post under the same name, and has more recently become my primary journal. I do still read over at LJ, as I have some folks I follow who have not yet migrated, but in terms of updates, sparse as they are, they will show up here.

New Yorker by birth; Greek, English, and Swedish by heritage; Californian in a desperate attempt to escape the concept of winter. I write. Too much or not enough, depending on your point of view. I work in the publishing industry, and that's an entire diatribe unto itself. This journal, however, is my playground, and very little here has anything to do with my work. But since I am obsessed with media in general, some overlap is probably inevitable.

A book worm from way back, I'm convinced there aren't enough hours in the day to devote to reading. I also used to be addicted to TV and the movies, but life is short and somehow I've run out of hours... I'm still a film geek, but my TV is mostly for watching Netflix. I went through a few years of health consciousness, where I was running regularly, but that has fallen by the wayside. I'm trying to get back to it, in order to find my waist again if for no other reason.

This journal tends to be Friends Only for the most part. I lock posts where I'm chatty, but fanfic and the like is left open. If you think we know each other and want full access, drop me an e-mail.
