Author's Note: Just a little drabble; I might expand on it later.

They elope one night a few weeks before she leaves for her second year of school. He has reservations about the idea. But she reminds him that their whole relationship was shrouded in secrecy. Why shouldn’t their marriage be? So they drive out to New York from her little dorm room at Talmadge and they do it. It’s spontaneous and spur-of-the-moment.

It’s them. And it’s perfect.

Author's Note: So this came out to be wayyy longer than I'd intended. I had a few different ideas for this prompt, too, so I might try a different one.
