Okay dorks! Your god is going to die if she doesn't get some honest to goodness human interaction here soon. I don't have a job yet, so I can work whenever. Mostly I just need some good hugs and a few laughs. I'm very dependent on that kind of thing. I could go without food for a day if I had cuddles and fun, and you all know how much I like food.
So yeah. Call me, or call eachother and sabotage me or mug me at bananapoint or something.

I find this significantly dorktastic.
Christopher Heck, a finalist at last week’s Scripps National Spelling Bee, was eliminated when he was unable to spell the word “girlfriend.” Bee champion David Tidmarsh then clinched the title by successfully spelling “autochthonous,” a word meaning “indigenous.”
Heck, 13, gamely tried to spell “girlfriend” for several minutes, asking its origin (English), definition (“a favored female companion or sweetheart”) and for it to be used in a sentence. Bee Master Michael Winchester provided Heck with the sentence: “You will never have a girlfriend,” prompting the boy to break into tears and run off the stage.
Heck’s mother, Bonnie, who homeschools her three children in the dining room of their Peoria, Illinois home, said this is not the first time her son has been tripped up by a seemingly simple word. “Last year in the Illinois state competition he was knocked out when he failed to spell ‘popularity’ correctly,” she said. “It was a word he had no concept of or experience with.”

So I was in the car with my mom and my sister today, driving up Stiltz avenue on the way home, and who should be walking up the street, but Joshgray. So of course I shouted out his name. He turned around and was like "Oh God!!"
After we had turned onto franfort, my mom was laughing about how it was "Like the voice of God was calling to him..."
If only she knew. It was.
(ironic giggles)

ok, here's two amazingly dorky moments i had this week:
1) in English on Xday (can't remember), we were reading the beginning of Antigone. Kat got to be Antigone's sister, and I was Antigone! A woman! A man with a fairly deep voice being a woman!! It was fun.
2) On Friday, I wore to schola shirt I got for christmas. Know what it said? LATIN ROCKS in big fancy letters over a picture of the colloseum. Now that's what I call being a disciple of Dorknism.

I'm finished with it. I worked really hard on it, too. I found a picture that I liked, cropped it, resized it, and put a bunch of effects on it. It took forever. I really hope you all like it, it's probably my favorite of all of the layouts that I've done. You won't be able to see the whole thing if you have an 800x600 screen. I suggest you change it to 1024x768. 800x600 is living in the stone age, man.
Uhm...yes. It's quite goddessy, so hopefully it's relevant in some way. If not, I dun care. xD If you all don't like it, tell me and I'll do another one. ;-)

First of all, a dork tangent I had the other day:
I don't like modern christmas music. I don't like much sacred historical christmas music, but it doesn't suck as bad in the long run. I think that probably the only good thing that came out of the church was music. Really. Classical music would never have grown as much as it did without the church. And classical gave types to a thousand other kinds. The church also birthed the african american spiritual, which fathered blues which mothered jazz and swing which eventually mothered and uncled early rock and roll, and we know the rest... something along those lines. God I'm a Dork. actually no. Dork I am God. That's better.
and also, if anyone wants to hide their entries from the public, you just make a separate friends group for the community and that'll do you well....
Also, I think that we dorks should convene over the break at some point, so please suggest locations and/or dates! I say some time, at Bearno's By the Bridge. So come up with something cooler.

I want a different name! I am not jebus, I like gay people! Therefore, you are all comanded/asked to subment ideas for new names.... okay.. there...
Also those who are involved in the writing in ths somew what holy book thing, I want to see what you have... post it up or give it to me or whatever.
I want people to start writing in here more offent... I know you people all have dork moments everyday and therefore I want to hear them! So until I think of a better reason for this thing that is what I want.

8.Belive in nothing but what you want to belive.
9.Don't force what you belive on others, only share.
10.Only you know what is right for you.
11.Self expresion is ...... undiscribily important!
12.Mental and phyiscal pain is the closest thing to realtity one will ever get.
13.This is advice, not laws. Take it, only if it plases you, don't fallow it. |

I've given it some thought and it seems in the best interest of DorkNisum to sever the ties we have set with other religions. (e.i. Amelia being called God and myself being called Jeuses.) There for all of us will be renamed... anything you would like to throw out there? |
