The Archive Title widget is designed to display the title of the current archive page. This includes category names, tag names, author names, date-based archives, and other custom taxonomies. It dynamically pulls the archive title, so you don’t need to set it manually for each archive page.
How to Use
- Go to the WordPress Dashboard → Pages (or Site Builder templates).
- Edit with Elementor.
- Drag and drop the Archive Title widget into the header or top section of your archive template.
- It will automatically display the archive’s title (e.g., “Category: News” or “Author: John Doe”).
Content Settings
The widget provides flexible controls to manage list display:
- Title Tag → Choose HTML tag: H1 – H6,
div,span, orp. - Category Before Text Toggle → Enable/disable prefix before category archive titles.
- Tag Before Text Toggle → Enable/disable prefix before tag archive titles.
- Author Before Text Toggle → Enable/disable prefix before author archive titles.
- Date Before Text Toggle → Enable/disable prefix before date archive titles.
- Search Before Text Toggle → Enable/disable prefix before search archive titles.
- Alignment → Align title to Left, Center, Right, or Justify.
Styling Controls
The widget provides flexible controls to manage list display:
- Typography → Customize font family, size, weight, and spacing.
- Title Color → Choose text color.
- Margin → Set margin around the archive title for spacing control.
Pro Tip
- Use the H1 tag for the archive title to improve SEO and content hierarchy. For inner sections, you can use H2 or H3 to maintain structure.
