As I look down upon my past...

Just imagine this song playing as I slowly walk along a tall bridge just out of reach from the glowing lights of the city, tossing all of my old possessions into the icy cold torrents of rushing water below. My mind is in such a reflective mood that I cannot hear the faint splashes of each item as it lets out a shriek upon hitting the water. I don't know what I am doing here, or what I have done before. Hiding in a silent depression, I had no idea it haunted me all this time, but now I can see it clearly. It's time to move on, and on this day I will begin to do just that. Forget everything you remember. I know this has happened before, but this is the 3rd time I've encountered this. However, this time I am starring it right in the face, the eyes of a monster and the eyes of an innocent person. I will reach out, push the other face away, back into the mirror, shattering the glass everywhere, as my fist collides upon the solid surface, pushing back with all it's might, although the glass hurts, I've won this battle, no longer is that monster starring back at me. I've won, for the greater of good. Wish me luck from now on, I'll need it. Adios.

Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence

Ghost in the shell 2 is amazingly awesome.

You must go see it now. I don't care what you say, go see it, but make sure you watch the first one and are able to understand what is going on before seeing the 2nd one, it helps alot. Although you'll still have to pay to see #2 about 9 more times or just watch it many times when it comes out on dvd. Thats the only way to comprehend everything that is going on in the movie. Your definately NOT going to understand it all with one viewing.

GitS2 had a good story line pretaining and linked with the original. There was good action, and more than one great scene with humor that will have you laughing out loud with the person next to you. The movie was able to keep me in my seat interested in what will happen next forcing you to comprehend the shere level of complicated but interesting dialogue. The backgrounds were beautiful, the landscapes open your eyes and mouth in awe, and in one particular scene I thought it to be real, but it was still just an anime once the characters were shown. The music was great, creepy and spine tingling with the vocals from the title song, and the rest just fit together so well. The overall flow or scenes and transitions was good. At one point there is intense action, and next a scene to calm you down for the next almost silent scene that allows you to take in all that you have thus learned from readding the subtitles so far.

I would give Ghost in the Shell 2 a 9/10. The only problem that I had with the movie was that some things were left unexplained, as in they cut to the next scene (mostly near the end) without telling you or showing you how they got to where they are next. So you end up with bits and pieces of the Ghost in the Shell world, but you will not be quite sure how they would fit together on a map.

Wow, this movie was so good that I can still remeber what I saw, and yet I wouldn't mind watching it again right away, it's definately not one of those watch it once every 5 years movies, this movie demands to be viewed over and over until your mind is content with the delivery of information, which in reality will never happen.
