After months of inactivity (almost 7 months in fact), I will officially be closing this community. I believe the members have moved on to better and greater things. The community thanks all those who have participated in the past and those who have helped keep this community alive.

Has anybody been watching The Voice this season? If you have, you undoubtedly saw Tony Lucca's grace under fire, as his former Mouse Club castmate Christina Aguilera offered her, um...controversial opinions on his talent. Eeesh. *shakes* I love the Lucca and am sad he didn't win, but if the last couple decades are any indication, he's got plenty more musical surprises for us fans. :)
I'm also sad that, aside from our lovely mod
mmrobitussin, nobody answered my trivia quiz, which was worth up to a whopping 21 points. :( It's already been up there for almost a month and still no response.

The Academy Award nominations were announced this morning. Thoughts? Representing the Mouse House, "Man or Muppet" from The Muppets was nominated for Original Song.
And speaking of the Oscars, Beauty and the Beast continues its run in theatres. It was the first Disney animated feature to be nominated in the Best Picture category.
Once last reminder, there's only one more week left to pick up your free holiday claims. Go here before the post expires January 31, 2012.

I was supposed to be at the Mouse House this long holiday weekend, but ish happens. *sigh* I guess not having to work, the free litho, and my favorite Disney animated movie will do. For now. :) Who else has seen Beauty and Beast? Better in the 3D or is the medium totally played out?

1) 1 blue or white claim (because green and red are getting old)
2) 1 family oriented claim (i.e. disneyland, riding autopia with your dad, etc.)
3) 1 free claim to start off the new year!
