Blessings, all! I am currently conducting a survey on the pagan community in the Dallas area for my cultural anthropology class. In the interest of getting the widest sample possible, I would like to invite any of you who are/have been involved in the Dallas community to participate. I've just noticed I actually have a few members here. Welcome to you all. Please tell your friends about this little place, if you have any that would be interested who live in the area. I hope you all had a lovely Samhain. Mine was great. I had a ritual with a few friends in my girlfriend's backyard. Haha. Anyway, merry meet, and blessed be. Namaste. My name is Alyx, and I felt I should create a community for Pagans in this area of Texas because I couldn't seem to find one here on LJ. For starters, I shall announce 2 Pagan-related events going on this very weekend in Dallas:
Bohemian Dreams
When: Friday (tomorrow!) September 30, 7:30 PM to 1 AM
What: Bohemian Drumming Circle! Bring your drums, tambourines, bells, snacks and some friends!
Where: Betwixt & Between community center, 4415 Belmont Ave, Dallas, TX
Cost: $5 at the door. (Free to members.)
I will be selling my FAERY UNIQUE Hemp Jewelry there! Look for my table! :)
NORTH TEXAS PAGAN PRIDE DAY:
When: Saturday, October 1st, 11 AM to 7 PM
What: Pagan Pride Celebration - drumming, ritual, food, vendors, and lots of good energy!
Where: Thanks-giving Square in Dallas, TX
Cost: Free! Donations welcome and very much appreciated for the ARC benefitting Hurricane Victims and Thanks-giving Square.
