just watched vaguely annoying 'Mercury Rising'. it had the potential to be a great movie as it contained Bruce Willis and various code-breaking/spying themes, but, yeah, they killed it
it ended and my thoughts were as follows:
"...waaait... WHA-?..." *confused*
has anyone else seen it? it's from like 1998; i just found it in our movie cabinet O_o
i just saw the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen... eh, i found it a little sub-par. don't get me wrong, it wasn't terrible... i did enjoy watching it, i think i was just too tired to really get into it. i found out that i'm wrong, but i still think the American guy really looks like Merry from LOTR... or whatever... has anyone else seen it? i thought it was really short (but, of course, everything seems short after LOTR), but visually entertaining... plus the whole dr. jekyl thing was cool.
i dunno if it counts as an action movie, but i also saw Seabiscuit. i thought it was really fantastic! and for you simpson's fans: "GO SOCCOR MUMMY! YOU TAUGHT ME TO BELIEVE IN MYSELF!" (pretty much my thoughts during seabiscuit. hee) no wonder we got so many copies of that movie as gifts for christmas...
hey everyone! so i was thinking about how i really love the music they put in action movies... my favorite soundtrack for a movie would most likely be the one from Spiderman. i love that 'hero' song. hee. any of you have favorites?
oh, and speaking of spiderman, i heard/read that tobey maguire doesn't want the part and won't be playing spiderman anymore (very lame move!) i'm really disappointed by that. they're still making a sequel, right? huh, such a lack of commitment. oh well, i guess it worked for the batman movies.
