If you haven't heard, Geocities is closing on October 26, 2009. Geocities has played an important role in the history of the Hanson fandom. On Fan History Wiki, we want to help chronicle the history of this fandom on Geocities before it is lost forever. We'd love to have you involved.
We've created some stub articles at Hanson fansites on Geocities. There isn't much there, especially when you think about the whole of Geocities and how important Geocities was to the Hanson fandom. We'd really want to see the few existing articles improved to give a better idea of what role they played early in the fandom's history and for the fandom's history off LiveJournal. Just click edit, write in relevant information and then click save. You can't screw it up. (It's a wiki. Things are incredibily easy to fix if you're worried.) If you're feeling really helpful, please use Template:fansitesgeocities to create new articles so that we can get the history of more Geocitie's Hanson fansites saved.
Even if you aren't editing, please pass the word along to others in the fandom. Ask them to help us. Ask them to visit Geocities to just save those sites on their hard drives. If you're a fan fiction reader, check out some of those stories from the fandom before they disappear potentially forever.

I am NOT looking to sell these - I am just asking for shipping charges, and the cost of the tapes themselves. I'm just looking for a better home for these, as I no longer have room to store these, and I thought someone might like these. I ship via priority mail - so however many you get, I'm going to be shipping via flat-rate priority mail. I'll also lower the price if you want multiple items - I just want to clear up some room.

Most of these tapes are pretty good quality - I haven't viewed these in over a year or so, so I don't know for sure. Each tape is 6 hours long in EP mode with the exception of 3 or 4.

so, okay. this might be a longshot, but i think i might have a secret tip for all you tulsa-ers.
when they were in japan, hanson toured with this awesome musician, bleu. and he is playing a gig in tulsa tomorrow night. i know that bleu and zac are pretty tight and have plans to work together on stuff in the future. they did "go" together, you know.
anyway, so since bleu is going to be in the tulsa/hanson area, i thought maybe some of the guys might show up.
like i said, it's not a positive, but who knows?!

- Underneath Acoustic 2003 tour poster. Minor marks from being hung up, but hardly noticeable. Very rare!
- Underneath Acoustic 2003 tour tank. Size M (I think...either way, I usually wear a M and it fits me just fine). Worn gently, and has been washed.
- Pack of 3 official 5"x7" Hanson photos. Brand new, I only opened the plastic packaging to find out which photos were in the package.

MOE magazines: I am selling my magazines. I own issue 3 through 8. I will be selling each issue for $5 a piece. If you'd like to save money and buy all 6, it'd be $30 plus $3 S&H. If you buy them individually, S&H is $1.
MOE CD: I have an exclusive CD that was given to MOE members whenever they joined the fan club. It's a 5 track CD and it includes songs such as "Boomerang", "Rain" ,"More Than Anything", "Baby, You're So Fine" and "Incredible". It still has it's original cover for the CD. You will not find this CD anywhere else unless you download the songs online, so if you want this CD in it's original format.. bid on a piece of Hanson history! I'd like around $15 for the CD since it's rare piece of Hanson history.
Videos: I am selling the Tulsa Tokya & MON video for $5. It does not have it's original case. I am selling The Road to Albertane for $7 and it does have it's original case. I actually believe I have two videos of the Albertane one.

I'm not sure if this is against the rules, but it's pretty Hanson related so I don't know. Feel free to delete if so.
OK, so the point of this post: Over the summer I worked for an amazing band on tour, and our tourmates were a band called THE SPACE PIMPS from Pittsburgh, PA. I just found out that they were chosen among 3 finalists to open for HANSON at the Philadelphia date, and I'm trying to do all I can to get them as many votes as possible, because they are incredible incredible guys and totally deserve to win this.

When did you become a fan and why? I was a fan in 1998 when MMMBop came out, and I just generally liked them. I didn't like them that much, until right before Underneath came out. I got hooked again because of their music, and plus they're pretty hot. ;)
