Hourglass, poetry by Brad Osborne at Spillwords.com

BERJAYA

The hourglass of life filled with granular moments…

Whispers

BERJAYA

A thousand words said a picture’s worth,
But these do not speak to me at all,
Wonderous world of the moment seen,
Unrevealed by the thin and small…

She Did Not Know

BERJAYA

For when the axe-man came,
Her beauty was to blame…

Reminder of the Good

BERJAYA

We shared a puits d’amour,
In the café on rue Bonaparte,
Parisian nights the gallery,
And pastry the delicious art…

Time Sighs

BERJAYA

The sunset pulls colors across the sky,
Like a child pulling salt-water taffy,
Stretching the joy of summer days…

Unspoken

BERJAYA

Turn stale and crumble in decay,
Blown in the winds yesterdays…

I Wonder

BERJAYA

I wonder if you have changed,
If what we went through…

Backdrop

BERJAYA

I live in a faded backdrop,
Of all the years since passed…

Soap Bubbles

BERJAYA

Thin spheres stretched,
Adrift to whim,
Delicate dance…

If I Had Known

BERJAYA

If I had known, it would end like this,
I would have lingered longer in each kiss…
