Hi! I've been looking for a place to share SotC fics (because I don't like Fanfic.net) and stumbled across this place. It's nice to find a community that insists on -some- standards when it comes to writing.

Anyway, I'd like to share this first fic I wrote. It has spoilers for Shadow of the Colossus, and references to Ico. Constructive criticism welcomed... I don't write in the third person very often at all, so this was something a bit different for me.

I'm new to the community, and I just finished the game for the first time yesterday. I must say that never has a video game affected me in such a way, and never has it moved me to write.

This is the first piece of fiction I've written for SotC. It isn't long and it isn't amazing, mostly just a brief retelling, but I hope that it's enjoyable to some degree. Approximately 1500 words with some spoilers for the game, of course.

Man, I can't stop. Writing a little something as a companion piece to 'Atonement', if anyone remembers that 'un. It's more of an Ico piece than SOTC, but there's spoilers aplenty for the latter in here too. Not quite finished yet; betas are appreciated more than I can say. My prose is so purple you could put it on the shoulders of an emperor, I fear.

I'm currently in the middle of writing a Thing. It's not a very good thing (I've posted bits on my LJ at one point or another), and it's only about halfway finished, and I'm not even sure whether or not to do so. What do you folks think? It's unbeta-ed and rough as a piece of quartz, so plz be gently.

I got bored and wrote a little Ico thing that is really not very good at all, but that I wanted to get done with none the less since it's been swimming around my brain for the better part of the summer. If it seems unfinished I'm afraid that's because I ran out of ideas, but I guess there are one or two lines that aren't that bad. Maybe someone will get some entertainment out of it, anyway.

I know this is mostly a SOTC fanfiction community thang, but lately there just hasn't been much worth reading in that section. In lieu of good Colossus-stuffs I give you another Ico fic which, while not as good as the last one I posted, is still a nice, well-written little story none the less. Enjoy.

Wow. This is possibly one of the finest Ico fics I've ever come across, and not only that but it's a post-game fic, one that succeeds in telling its story with nary a stumble in the prose. I wish I could write stuff that would flow this effortlessly. Bravo.

Hello! I'm a huge SotC fan. I'm not sure if this story is very good or not--I sort of tried to do something from Agro's point of view. I'm usually not big on fanfics, but I've enjoyed a lot of what I've read in this community. 

Anyway, I think it makes some sense, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. 

Oh, right: spoilers. Of course. They're in there. There was a second half, but I think it went a bit beyond a horse's understanding. Might try writing it again, but from Dormin's point of view this time (wish me luck!).
